ROI of less than One Year! X-Press PAL™ Print and Apply (P/A) Labeling is a key component of Numina Group's Pick Pack and Ship Automation suite of products. Our automated pack and ship system easily integrates with existing packing areas or new operations to provide a complete in-line packing and shipping automation solution.

X-Press PAL™ eliminates the time and labor associated with manual carton weighing, packing sheet/invoice generation, P/A labeling, and manifesting. A single operator can process up to 350 or more shipments per hour, eliminating two to three operators in most non automated packing and shipping operations. Our industry leading pack and ship system automates the application of the shipping/compliance label and manifesting process at up to 15 cartons per minute. If higher speeds are required Numina Group can supply a print and apply labeling system that performs at 50 plus cartons per minute rates!

X-Press PAL™ automated pack and ship system includes the following hardware and software:

  • Modular 24VDC zone accumulation conveyor, with bi-directional transfer for exception handling and/or carrier routing
  • In-line scale and carton barcode scanner Real-time PC Control with Browser based web screens for operator, diagnostics and SQL DB based operational and carton history reports

X-Press PAL's™ modular design automates the shipping, labeling, and manifesting process or the entire Pack and Ship System Process. Select from a family of pack and ship automation components to streamline the pack process.

Our packing and shipping automation components include:

  • Vision Audit to provide a permanent digital record of carton contents for order validation
  • Carton weight and dimension capture at the in-line carton/order audit station
  • 4" x 6" to 8.5" x 11" Pack Sheet and/or Invoice Printers with manual or auto folder/inserter option
  • Semi or Automatic Taper/Sealer integrated with the Void Fill Station
  • Conveyor and Sorters to automate the entire pick pack and ship operation

X-Press PAL Plus™ is an exclusive Numina Group option that reduces labor and time from order fulfillment applications by automating the application of the packing slip to the outside of the shipping carton. This option can be added to X-Press PAL™ to print and apply both the packing and shipping label to the outside of the carton. The packing and shipping slips consist of a removable slip label concealed by a removable shipping label applied directly over the packing slip.

X-Press PAL Plus™ lowers labor costs through automating the packing and shipping slip with a "Green Labeling Process", eliminating both the manual labor and the plastic packing slip envelopes required to attach the pack sheet to the outside of the carton.

X-Press PAL Plus™ automated packing and shipping system provides:

  • Software Module to accept and format the packing and shipping slip data from the client's WMS/ ERP or Shipping / Manifesting System
